#ImStickingWithAbbott mocked on Twitter

But while Ms Bishop maintained support for Tony Abbott, a Twitter hashtag intended to voice backing for the embattled Prime Minister descended into farce with critics lambasting the pledge #ImStickingWithTony.

#ImStickingWithTony because he's keeping thousands of comedians and satirists in gainful employment

#ImStickingWithTony because I missed the 1950s the first time around

#ImStickingWithTony because he needs to finish off his important work of knighting the royal family.

#ImStickingWithTony. We need a Minister for Women who thinks women don't have a right to say no to men.

#ImStickingWithTony because my columns write themselves when he's around.

#ImStickingWithTony like a pair speedos after a hot day at the beach.

Only when it leans to the left.

Am3

For someone who has a big mouth when it comes to others posting from social media sites,
You just again proved how hypocritical you are.

Brain cell 1 wasn't talking to the other half ???

#ImStickingWithTony. We need to make sure people pay back what they owe the government.

Woman LOL Nothing new in this thread on topic at least Woman LOL

Much of the same from Tony Abbott

Mr Abbott insisted that while he might have had a “casual glance” at Australia’s largest employment site, it did not mean anything. “It was just in case there was something really interesting out there, you know, just out of interest,” he told reporters.

Mr Abbott went on to say there was “hardly anything” available anyway, a fact he blamed on the previous government.

Thanks to Labor’s mess and mismanagement, the number of former party leaders is at record highs in Australia and there are aren’t enough positions to go around.

Spoiler
Yes, this is satire. No, Charles Firth doesn’t apologise. You can read more of Charles’ work here.

Poor old Toxic Tony is in a loss/loss situation: If he wins the polls will continue to go against him, if he wins he's just showing the disunity in the Govenrment ranks

If the spill votes relies on Toxic's vote to decide he will (unlike John Gorton) vote for him self

I agree with that, main theme in media articles too.
