Yes the lights on the boats.  I still don't get it but it's to do with when they are moving or anchored.

 

It's a pretty hot night isn't it?  I'm a bit shattered so an early night from me. We have some odd weather coming up and I'm hoping we get some rain with it.

A waterside apartment sounds like a great spot to watch the fireworks from Joono. Sounds like you had a great night.


Prim, they are heading off again later today. There was something clogging the propellor which was slowing them down and making them use up fuel. Divers have been organized this morning to fix the problem. This isn't the main function boat, it's the ex navy one. the Challenger.

My, my we are a quiet lot today .......

 

Not much to report - just though I would pop in a give you all a ~~~~~

 

Nothing like a visit to the podiatrist to make one feel they are walking on air ..... riveting stuff I know 

 

It has been hot today and fires are still springing up all over the place.  The poor vollies (not to mention the regular fire crews) will be worn out before the height of the fire season arrives!  Some storms out in the east but nothing here in the coast and certainly no rain on the horizon

 

Hope the boys got their boat problems sorted Deb and that you Prim had a reasonable day.

 

Back to the tennis for me .............................

They are saying now that a couple of the fires may have been deliberately lit too.

 

I thought I had popped in this morning! Haha never mind. The weather has been stifling which led to a day of not much at all and I suspect tomorrow will be more of the same.

I saw that you have a storm warning of some sort in WA too

 

 

they didn't go again, this time it was too windy 

 

I shouldn't laugh really, OH went all the way into Docklands and came back home again. They have to put it off for now.

I still have not riden the bike yet.........I keep chickening out.

 

I have a couple of big weekends coming up...........and did not want to tackle them with some broken bones.............or embarassing bumps.

 

I am out in the kitchen typing this..................too much noise with the boys watching the Big Bash in the lounge.

 

I have all the grandchildren tomorrow............and no car.............it is off getting some new brakes.

 

I hope they are all in a "we are all going to get along just fine" mood.
