It's another shocker isn't it Laney? It annoys me how they say that the max is going to be 35 or 38 and on the radio they say it's currently 34 in Perth but where I am it was 42 degrees today. Car temp guage told me so :D. It's funny how it goes up and down even with close by suburbs.
Is LL doing ok? Poor darling dawg.

Sure is j*oono and more to come.
I guess their maximums are predicated on the location of the Observatory at Bickley although to be honest I am not sure. I know that is still operating for educational purposes but whether it is as a current forecasting location I don't know. Must find out!
We had to take our min/max thermometer off the back verandah the other day as we were worried it was going to exceed its maximum capacity lol
She is as flat as at the moment j*oono - her age and her medical problems don't help.
How is fishbait in this weather and did Baloo play in the fountain today?

I thought you might have got a bit of rain this afternoon - by the look of the BOM - but it would not have cooled things down much anyway.
I didn't even feel the Freo Doctor come in this afternoon ![]()

When in doubt - look it up lol
Not just Bickley - stations all over the place. Check out the Gozzie temps - they must have overheated as they did not report after 3.00pm lol

We had a few blobs of rain when I went to Kelmscott today but it evaporated off the ground as it hit.
Gosnells is around 30 when I get up in the morning at the moment I reckon. I'm not even sure how Martin is in the middle but we are close to both.
Poor LL. Fishbait is doing remarkably well. She seems to enjoy the heat but I've been trying to keep her inside because perhaps she doesn't know that she's baking on the pavement. She still has an amazing appetite so I reckon she's not going anywhere yet.

Good morning Stringsters
I hope LL managed to get through the night without too much discomfort Laney.
We froze. I kept waking up cold even though I had worn my winter PJs to bed. We had a couple of throw-overs on the bed but the cold just seeped through. Might have to resurrect the doona from its winter storage for tonight. I do prefer this weather to incessant heat so I am not complaining.
Flashie, get hubby to hold the seat of the bike for about 20 feet as you get started and you will suddenly realise that it all comes back to you . youcandoityoucandoityoucandoit!!!
Off to work for me. Have a great day everyone.
