It's so odd the weather you have had Prim.  I hope we have taken a little bit of it off you as I've been listening to rolling thunder snoozing in bed for the last couple of hours.

It's so nice but temperatures are still forecast to be mid to high 30s for a while.

Grrrrrrr - a sleepless night and no rain!  Fantastic electrical display and rolling thunder but NO RAIN!

To top it off when I tried to log in today the headers on my page have changed - no 'community' heading!  Anyone else have a similar problem?  Finally found a link to community right at the bottom of the page in light grey text.

It started a few spot fires too.

It wasn't the heat as much as the lightning and thunder and one very anxious LL as a result.

Will probably fall asleep on the lounge watching the tennis today - if I am left in peace lol

Awww Laney, you missed it. It pelted down for at least an hour here this morning.  The thing is though that I just went outside to hang up the sheets and it was like walking into a sauna.  It is steaming out there.  Still, my lawns loved it.

Fired up the aircon already as it is like a sauna here too

This week summer has missed Tasmania...............it is currently 14 degrees here.

Our grand daughter had to see the eye specialist this morning...........and have drops in her eyes.............the nurses said she is the strongest 3 year old they have seen for a while...................it took three others to hold her still to put her drops in.........................I wonder how many it will take when she has to have her MRI............surely they will sedate her.

She came home with a duckie watering can.............she was so proud of herself...........(she loves ducks for some reason).......................and told me all about having her eye drops.............as far as she was concerned it all went smoothly.................(I don't think her mother shares her opinion.......)

Our grandson is currently asleep on the couch...........and darn it I am sure if you listen carefully you can hear him snoring from where you are................ I can not change the channel on Austar or turn it up to tune him out as he has gone to sleep with the remote under his arm................and snoring is the one thing that sounds like fingers down a blackboard to me...................*groans*.....................
