Did the unthinkable and had a nap this afternoon - the results of a sleepless night or preparation for the night ahead .... time will tell lol

Thankfully kin back east phoned and woke me in time for 'the match'

Only a few more days and life can get back to normal - whatever that means

Glad I was not losing the plot this morning .......... a warning before the change might have been helpful but would have done nothing for the new arrivals in the future.  Glad it is not a company I work for!

Anyway - back to the tennis for now

Flashie - not going to quiz you about your grand-daughters eye - whatever the problem I hope it all gets sorted.  She sounds like a real trooper with a large streak of 'Flashie' in her!

I was a bit concerned about the MRI too Laney.  I hope all is ok Flashie.

Did you eventually get some rain?  Apparently today already doubled the January average.  It was very steamy and I was driving through thunder and lightening this afternoon.  

I passed two accidents.  One was in a car park and the woman was having a big row with another woman because she refused to leave her details. She had hit someone elses car and she was telling her to mind her own business.  She took off so no idea whether number plate was passed on.

Then another accident on Albany Hwy involving a number of cars.  I think people were more concerned about watching the clouds and lightening than the road.

How exciting.  It was like everyone went a bit crazy today.

Joono, I saw a story on doll houses last night. The most valuable one is priced at 7 million. Not sure how that value was calculated but it did have the world's smallest bible in it. 

Day off for me but no sleep-in as we were woken by the council truck as they picked up the items from the clean up day.....which was meant to be two weeks ago.  There are a lot of yellowed nature strips at the moment.

the councils never pick up when they're supposed to, they always seem to be late

No biggie about the MRI.............she has Duane Syndrome..............and has to have the MRI to checkher muscles in her eyes................(both our daughters have it.............but so far she is the only grandchild that has.)

Her sister decided to have a special sisters night with her last night..............and this picture tells you exactly what she thinks about "Girlie stuff"
