Icy
I think it's more primeval than that.
Fighters, warriors (aka men in uniform) seem to be very sexually attractive to females, or so it seems.
Women "love" men in "uniform" !
I just thought I would throw that in !

yes but I think it's even more fundamentally primeval than that. Men and Women following nature's urge to ensure the next generation.

And by picking a warrior they are more likely to succeed.
Used to love watching women wilt at the sight of men in uniform.
I must admit some of the soldiers were very charming, especially when "mission" focussed !!! ![]()

Tell us, are the rollers wooden or rubber? If rubber how do you keep it "supple" because I picked up an old one and its rollers are cracked. I smeared vaseline on them, haven't checked on them lately, though.
Anybody else got clues to bring rubber back to life?
I know it's nearly off topic, Icy.

It's actually a dollshouse miniature DEB. It came in a kit and you have to glue it together and paint it with enamel paints so the rollers are white metal painted to look like solid rubber or synthetic. I remember a friends mum had one many years ago. I wonder if you can find someone to make you some new rollers in wood and replace them?

That's enough to give me nightmares! I caught my hand in one of those, it was stuck with a sheet. I lived in a share house and had to scream for someone to come release me.😢

They were called mangles. My mum had a 'state of the art' one - it folded down to become a table or workbench

Awww, a little tiny mangle.
A couple of rolling pins might be the go for me. Don't know whether it is worth though ......I'll never actually use it....but then again I'll probably never use the pins that I've got either. Mind made up. It can all stay as is.
Back to you Icy.![]()
