He agrees with almost everything his party does. He's not at odds with his party on many policies at all, if any.

 

He has no care or concern for the average voter, the aged, the disabled or anyone else who is not going to add to his personal wealth.

I don't know. Maybe jealousy?

 

I don't believe they all loathe him anyway, only the extreme right religious nutters, the royalists and the haters of same sex couples.  That's probably about half of them but if they thought he would win the next election for them they wouldn't care.  They would put their hatred on the back burner for a while.
