"Say hello to my li'l fren" is a famous line from Scarface by Al Pacino. He's talking about a very big machine gun.

A bit like the "your'e gunna need a bigger boat" from Jaws.

I totally agree with you about the toads, they are to be despised and exterminated at all costs.

To even suggest they could be a fashion item is repugnant imo.

The best way to eliminate the toads is to put a monetary value on them. There is a company that catches and turns them into fertilizer. Sad thing is that if toads killed sheep and cows they would have been made as extinct as the Tasmanian tiger by now but as they only kill native animals no one gives a **bleep**

Thanks Idle, understand now.

BTW, you know the line "A bit like the "your'e gunna need a bigger boat" from Jaws."

I believe that line was actually an "ad lib" at the time, wasn't in the script at all.

100% agree, turn them into fertilizer,  but,  they are everywhere now and just rying to catch them is futile, ask QLD they have been battling them for decades, good idea though.

Bit off topic but I don't mind.

The problem is with the fertilizer bit, all it is doing is getting rid of adults, not getting rid of the problem at it's source

which is breeding.

When you actually walk through the bush up north, you don't actually see that many of them. And by bush I walk

through anything from dry lightly treed Savannah to thicker wet country to swamp country of the flood plains.

You see them but not in great numbers.

The only exceptions are once in Arhnemland where for some reason this little bay was just thick with them

and the other was where this huge light was on near where I stay and it attracted them like the flies.

You could not walk for them so I just kicked 10 at a time to get through.

We need to find a way to stop them breeding.

Killing the adults does have some effect as the adults are also breeding. If toads were worth money people will harvest them.

I'll be looking out for this range of interesting products. The GF  and BF say things have become a little stale and we need something different.
