How do you know they were more deserving? Any sour grapes could think they were more deserving, then kick up a stink because they felt they'd been overlooked for a rich b1tch who in fact was better qualified.
how do you know she was more deserving than anyone else?
That's my point. How do you know she wasn't?
The general assumption is that anybody would be more deserving that Ms Abbott. Why? Just because she's the PMs daughter?

Hi !
They are only objecting BECAUSE it is the PM's daughter.
If it was anyone else, it wouldn't be a problem.

Maybe all fees should be less but up front.
It doesn't really matter what the fees are. Some don't bother to pay them back,
going overseas instead. Although I did find out that on your death, the Gov't hit
the family with a bill !

And quite a few people will "remind" whoever employs Freya in the next 40 years just what she did,
just to make sure that ALL IS DECLARED ![]()

She plead guilty because they would have found her guilty of a criminal offence.
She is still a criminal.
"No, the other students were not left with HECS debts because there was no HECS type of support payments available for Private Colleges. That was one of the "payoffs" that Abbott promised the private college.
Had Abbott declared the scholarship there would never have been a reason for Freya, or anyone else, to go looking.
It's not sour grapes by others because they missed out. ALL others were told that the college did not offer scholarships. They, or their parents, had to pay the full amount. "
And Abbott did not have to declare it.
No reason for Freya to go looking anyway. Private College made a decision based on academic and art portfolio.
To be considered a criminal, one must have a criminal conviction.......... she doesn't.
