He is due any time............he will be all the more special because they did not think this would ever happen for then.

We are having a bit of a heat wave here..............muggy days and too hot nights.

My brother is going to pass me in the grandchildren stakes by the end of the year.

But it is good that all their childrens babies are close in age................they will all grow up knowing each other.

I was the youngest child of the youngest child...........and all my cousins were grown up when I was born........so I was never really close to any of them.

I am glad that wont be the way it is for the next generation in our family.

true Flashie, they'll have lots of fun being around the same age. ours all are and we did lots of things together and have some great  family memories from when the kids were young

It's great Flashie.  When I was growing up all my cousins were around my age and we had great times together and still keep up with each other though we live in different countries.

Good morning Stringsters

I am the youngest of 7 and we had many happy family get-togethers. Sadly I am the youngest so it is starting to get a bit lonely 😞  but, that's life I guess.

I just heard yesterday that a very close friend is about to become a grandfather. He has no other grandchildren and was absolutely not expecting any, so it is a very exciting time for him.

I had a very early start to the day.............and now I have nothing left to do for the day..............well nothing planned anyway................I might go for a walk..........................(or have another cup of tea.)

some great news re babies stringsters my youngest is trying for no2 but no luck so far..told them not to stress so much but don`t think she listens much to me..headstrong!!On the  front ,it isn`t..sadly he`s life is too full and I realised he wasn`t for me...so back to square one!!lol dating it`s a funny game..

Morning everyone.  Nic, what Deb said. At least you have your eyes wide open and you know what is for you and what isn't for you so half the battle won.

Deb, do left handers knit differently? My younger son doesn't knit but he is left handed. You could never tell as he seems to be ambidextrous but really he prefers his left hand for writing.

Today is a bit funny.  It feels a fair bit cooler than the original forecast (thank goodness)but balmy.
