True Am a degree does not necessarily mean an immediate high income

"what freebies? uni education isn't free"

It is for ppl who go overseas the minute they graduate, or decide get married and raise a family as against seeking employment, or cannot find work that puts them over the $49,000 per year threshhold.

The current threshold is =  2014‑15 income year is $53,345.

You seriously think that happens in 2015? What did you base that statement on? Any studies? Do you think all couples get married before they have children?

I doubt any person would spend 3-5 years studying at Uni, just so they could get married, have children and avoid paying their student loan off. That doesn't make sense at all. They would skip the Uni bit, and just get married and have children!!

Couples/families need two incomes to survive.. one parent.may take time off  for raising a family, but overall they will still be working most of their working lives.

Why shouldn't Australia's brighest stars go overseas to live if they are offered high paying jobs in the field they want to work in? Why can't Australia offer them good jobs/conditions?

Not ALL grads who live overseas don't pay back their student loan either.

If there are not enough jobs for grads then the Govt needs to look at cutting the number of places Uni's have available to offer new students, not increasing them.

Why should not people go overseas if they get good jobs there?  Just like qualified people from other countries come here. People usually leave only if they cannot get a job here.  Working o/s in their profession is better than sitting here and getting dole or working in some poorly paid menial job.  Getting experience in their field is invaluable, and many then return and use their qualifications and skills here, in any case women rarely stay at home with children more than few years.  And as professional women now have children much later, mostly in their 30s, their HECS are long time paid off by the time they have their 1st child.  If these loans are not paid within reasonable time, then maybe we should consider the possibility that the courses are already too expensive.

She had her socks on when she sprayed on her fake tan? Lol

icy - I would like to know where the following (in bold) originated from. It is the second time I have read that on CS, but never ever seen it stated anywhere else. I can't really believe anyone would think that actually.

Especially as it suggests the mother who has the children will never work again for the rest of their lives. Which is very, very unlikely these days.

I suspect you might be right. looks a bit funny though  😄

Yes, it is very noticeable. She is obviously not concerned about it though.Smiley Happy

Her legs are noticeably darker than her face or her décolletage. And what we can see of her feet is  dazzlingly white.

So my guess is that the image has been tampered with. (photoshopped?).
