"propping up a country much wealthier than ours"
I'm not economist, far from it, so can you tell me what measure you used to support your statement about the relative wealth of Australia and Indonesia?

I thought our love affair was over.
I've moved on, anyway. Sorry.

Back on topic.
The abbott haters are now saying that he has doomed the two Australians on death row. Widodo SIGNED the death warrants in Decenber 2014.
He must be brought to book for his blanket ban on clemency, it is against the Indonesian constitution and agains human rights. He must consider every case for clemency on a case by case basis, he cannot blanket his decision.
He will kill these two Australians and he will kill hundreds more. He's a monster, humanity is a quality he lacks:
Widido made it crystal clear last December that the Australians would die:
There are 64 [people] sentenced to death by the courts and as I’ve said about clemency request for drugs cases, I will never give clemency… Never will. Never will.
I’m stressing this again and again so that it’s all clear, so there will be no one who thinks that death penalty is [given] by the President. The sentence is from the courts and we don’t give forgiveness or clemency.
