Stinking hot here today but I think it might be high humidity rather than high temperature. Off for a drive anyway. At least it's cool in the car.  I'm trying to not have the aircon running all the time as our electricity bill was through the roof last time.

Forgot to tell you all........I finally rode the bike..............first time in 30 years............wobbled all over the place......................how embarassing when young kids cheered at me for finally riding straight...............

Haha I haven't ridden a bike for years so I suspect I would be the same.   I would say just keep on peddling.

I have a visitor again. It annoys me so much that he doesn't let me know that he's coming back.  First I knew was when I saw his sunglasses and keys on the kitchenette this morning.  Got back at 3 am and I didn't wake up. That's kind of rude isn't it?

I'm trying to organise my sisters to go and see the Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel next week.  I loved the first movie and this is supposed to be just as good. It seems a bit odd to me that they've brought Richard Gere into it. Not that I don't like him.

First I have to call Telstra and complain about the biggest phone bill we've had this year when we didn't even have a line for half the month. We get billed monthly. What are 13 numbers?  It said we made 55 calls to 13 numbers!

No it doesn't Deb.  It just says 55 calls to 13 numbers.  I just got off the phone and the lady was very helpful.  She gave me the full 13 numbers and the only one that would have been called was to iinet because our internet wasn't working.

She agreed to wipe those charges because it was their fault that we had dodgy internet.

Other 13 numbers were to places like taxation dept and Australian Bureau of Statistics!!!  The thing is that the dates these calls were made was when we couldn't even use the phone because the line was so crackly you couldn't even hear anyone.

She wiped the charge for ALL of the 13 numbers and reduced the line rental by two weeks because we didn't have the line.  Bill halved.

Deadline met!  Time to put feet up and relax for a while and catch up with whats being going on around the traps.  Probably same old same old and not really worth the effort.

Concerned about our Prim.  I hope that the sore throat has not developed into more than just that.  Perhaps she has been flat chat like me.

Gold star for you Flashie for finally getting back on the bike and you finally managed to ride it straight too.  Next time will be even easier.  My knees don't like them these days - must havew been the circuits I dxid in Centennial Park all those years ago.
