I'm curious to know what was so wrong with the thread in question, considering it was posted for a bit of variety in the conversations.

There is a hex on Aust PM's making official visits to NZ.

Rudd - got rolled a few days before he was due to visit NZ.

Gillard - knives were already out for her during her NZ visit in 2013.

Abbott - watch this space

I thought the same thing.  What an odd time for him to go to NZ.
