They are attacks as they are not addresseing the topic in anyway. Abbott style.

The govt can order them down if they see fit.

It also only take a quick swish of glue and slap of paper to cover it up,
No ne the wiser.

Not attacks.

Just pointing out hypocrisy.

That's not true.

I think they can't shut down freedom of speech no matter how hard they try.

the posters will probably end up being put somewhere else. The power companies are state govt. owned in NSW aren't they? From what I've been reading there is some opposition to privitisation in NSW, so I assume that's what the posters are about

Re: Greens Labor ordered to take down posters

This billboard poster is probably more effective anyway and them Govt can't order them to be taken down.

Remember Bill Posters Will Be Prosecuted?

That law of any poster  being attached to poles has been around for all my living memory (be it political/rock concert/local event).

Political signs that people put up in their front yards annoy me - when I'm looking for the elusive Garage Sale addressSmiley Very Happy

And there was a Craig Thomson one in our area up until recently.

DEB.

OMG... lol it's nothing to do with FOS, it's political propaganda and advertising which they are ILLEGALLY putting on power poles. But I suspect you already knew that and to try to link it in with FOC, well! that's a laughh coming from the left. Smiley LOL

Of course their is opposition to privatisation. And that is before you even get to the ideology driven objections
And we'll object to anything the Gv't wants to do.

Not sure I 100 per cent agree with Privatisation.

What's FOC?

You just reminded me of a video of some LNP woman caught on CCTV footage, pulling down labor signs and loading them into her car 😃

I guess a little argy bargy goes on with political signage before elections, yes very much to do with freedom of speech, if they're not allowed to put signs on poles, they just put them somewhere else, that's pretty obvious isn't it?

I think he meant FOS.

Its best not to take things down, you dress up like a worker in overalls, ladders, mop, ute etc and go around plastering new posters on them.
People just think you are dong your job.
