Here tis now.  It sort of matches horrible twitters from yore.

To some extent yes it does, although the messages were rather tame in comparison. They were not from men to women and it seemed like a bit of a copycat moment.

'They were not from men to women' and you have no proof that the others were from men to women either.

Neither do you have any proof that the tweets to Baird were from men and not from women

Stating it does not make it so !

Watta

Very well said.

Just more made up rubbish to fit an agenda.

You're correct, I have no proof they were from men. They could have been from women pretending to be men, although it's unlikely that they all were.

You are allowed ti use any music on youtube videos as long as correct credit goes to the owner.  It's an automatic setting so he must have accidently claimed ownership of the track instead of ticking the right box to acknowledge the owner.

how does that give you permission to

use copy-protected material?

'although it's unlikely that they all were.'

A personal opinon on your part and again I say 'stating it does not make it so'

Just as long as posters recognise it is not factual !

The system recognises the music and links it to the owner.

For example if I have purchased a track for my own personal use and I decide to use a portion of the track as backing music on a youtube video the system will give the credit to the performer.   I'm not sure how it works from there but suspect it's similar to APRA and royalties.  Some artists ban the use of their tracks on youtube but most don't seem to.

If I tick the wrong box and claim I own the rights the video will get taken down (blocked from view) until I make a correction.

Hi everyone, the discussion is getting a little heated.  Please be sure to keep your communications civil.  Thanks!

Why do they have to be 'women pretending to be men" ?

Women do behave like and send abusive tweets as well and not hide who is sending it.

One in particular stood out as from a woman in my mind by the choice of words,
Although it could have been a man.

That's true Vic.  I really thought you were a woman pretending to be a man for quite a while as well.

I haven't dressed up for years

All the dresses, stockings and high heels were 'put away' years ago !
