Two sets of rules ! One for Germaine Greer, one for everyone else !

Why do you run around copying posts from one thread to another?

Seriously, when does school go back.  This used to be a place of conversation.

Why turn it into a combat zone.

I never heard any complaint when joono did 6 or 7 reposts links. Double standards again.

Miriam Margolyes steals Q&A show with views on Abbott and taxes

HARRY Potter star and naturalised Australian Miriam Margolyes flirted with controversy over her comments on the ABC’s Q&A about anti-Semitism and higher taxes.

But when asked for a one-word answer to describe Tony Abbott, the response showed that the Prime Minister may be getting a lift in the polls, but he may have some way to go winning over rusted on critics.

“He’s a t i t,” was Ms Margolyes’ offering to a predictably appreciative audience.

.....Host Tony Jones asked Mr Frydenberg if the Prime Minsiter wanted Ms Triggs “out of her job”.

“There has been no inducement … We haven’t asked her to leave,” he responded to which the audience laughed in disbelief.

No, not double standards.  I didn't see it happen and it wasn't a post I made to cause me to notice.

Liberal leadership: Anti-Abbott campaign 'dying' as dissidents told to 'pull their heads in'

The campaign to install a new prime minister "is dying", with polls showing a "significant turnaround" for the Abbott government, according to a senior cabinet minister.

Dissidents' hopes for a second spill motion against Tony Abbott as early as Tuesday faded on Monday after the latest Fairfax-Ipsos poll confirmed a turnaround in the government's standing just three weeks after the Prime Minister survived an attempt to remove him as leader.

The Coalition's primary vote has risen to 42 per cent and the government is now within striking distance of Labor, which leads 51-49 per cent on a two-party preferred basis. It is the closest the Coalition has come to being competitive since October 2014.

Speaking from Vancouver, Canada, Trade Minister Andrew Robb took aim at the "elusive bank of unnamed colleagues" waging a campaign for change through "spurious leaks" to the media.

"It [the campaign to oust Mr Abbott] is dying because the voters have spoken, we're seeing very strong movement back," Mr Robb told the ABC.

"I think these elusive unnamed colleagues have got a clear responsibility to the rest of the team and to the country to pull their heads in."

Hi all,

This thread has gone off topic and interpersonal disputes are occurring.

Please bring the discussion back to "Tony Abbot's Support Page"

Thanks!

Medicare co-payment: Unpopular budget measure set for chopping block

The $7 co-payment was withdrawn in December and replaced with a $5 fee for non-concessional patients.

“We are not pursuing it at all,” Health Minister Sussan Ley told the joint Coalition party room, according to Sky News.

A senior Liberal MP told AAP the party room had been told the co-payment was “permanently gone”.

Ms Ley has called a news conference for 1.30pm.
