Eating plastic is much safer than munching on imported berries. Start with small items first like bits of LegoRobot LOL

Noooooo, you know how much they hurt feet so why would you want that world of pain in the belly...... or worse the pain of its exit?

you're supposed to chew it first.

Yes it is reasonably safe.Haven't you ever tried Kraft 'cheddar' slices? Plastic wrapped in plastic film.

Isn't margarine one molecule off being plastic?

Correct scarlet.

Is it safe to eat plastic?

It's complex. Depends on which plastics.

But most will simply pass through us with miniscule effect if at all. So yes, safe.

The concern is more when foods and liquids are heated in certain plastic containers that chemicals may leach.

In small amounts probably won't effect humans, but on a regular basis, it can contribute to health concerns.

ask all the marine creatures that try to exist with the plastic rubbish in the pacific gyre.

That people manufacture cheap in 3rd world countries creating huge pollution problems so others can import it for resale creating mountains of rubbish made from cheap disposables.. etc etc

And to add to that icy, you would gasp at the amount of water and energy used to produce those products.

If you buy at McDonalds then just eat what you get.

You know the risks. Just don't feed it to your kids.
