I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ-20 Camera.
The battery is a CGA-S002E.
The battery won't charge. I've tried over two nights now. The next morning I put it back in the camera and it's still whinging about 'battery'.
Is it likely to be the battery or the Charger - how can I tell? hopefully not the camera itself.

I KNEW someone would ask me that. About 7 years I guess. A bit of 'green' around the terminals on both the battery and the charger, so I took the gurney to it and it seems to work OK now.

That is old.
Green probably means Copper oxidisation or corrosion
Good that you have cleaned it and it is working.
Keep an eye on the battery to make sure it is NOT leaking acid.
Unlikely but just keep an eye on it.

Isn't someone going to say: "you didn't wash it in water did you?"

Nah! Just joking. I sprayed Dick Smith Contact Cleaner on it.
Next time I go into the big smoke I'll take the battery and the charger into Battery World or somewhere similar.
Thanks for your help.
