No, I imagine as habitats decrease and animal colonies become more isolated inbreeding would become a problem.

Just kidding Tassie people. ![]()
I wonder how the dingo population on Fraser gets on. It's supposedly the most pure of the breed but it would have to be showingthe effects of inbeeding by now whouldn't it?

Oh, on second thoughts they have 'selective' outrage so you'll be allowed to get away with it.

I'll put money on it that you won't get Publicly criticised for it.

Wilk
KI - which is the example I used before and a very good example of the consequences, except they seem to have jumped on it earlier.
The general public hasn't got a clue what goes on in the real world, all they see are cute and cuddly Koala's, Kangaroos (which are so prolific compared to history because of man it isn't funny) and when they hear of a cull, go ballistic.

Someone earlier posted that Victorian koalas should be relocated in QLD. This is impossible as the QLD koala is smaller and has a less dense fur. Victorian koalas would just die of heat stroke but obviously to the unthinking mob that would never enter their heads they are too busy jumping up and down criticizing the cull

Interesting re SA.
Having seen a few mass deaths, one thing I will say is one of THE worst ways to die is by starvation and by way of that,
thirst on the basis of they get so weak that they can't walk to water (excluding Koala's of course).

They are "showing the effects of inbreeding". They are staying breed pure.
