yes, if you look at the news headlines -

its all about the 'selfie'.  shame.

Their country, their laws and the signs and warnings were in place,(they chose to ignore them and will now face

the penalty for ignoring those signs).

It's not the country's fault and they are only enforcing those laws to stop this despicable trade in drugs.

If the 8.3 Kg's of heroin had made it to Aus then it would have been responsible for a number of deaths,(making

the Bali nine the executioners for bringing it into Aus).

They would not have cared about those deaths and would be enjoying their ill gotten money instead,(they may

have done it again if they had been successful).

Try seeing it from the other side.

Not true.  It would have made no difference at all, except some $$ for the boss.

The people who use are able to access it easily.

My change of the above wording.

It could have been responsible for a number of deaths.

If the heroin had been brought back in,  perhaps the AFP could have been able to trace and follow up information and been able to catch the "Big Bosses".............

I don't know, maybe wishful thinking on my behalf ??.

Not in 2005,(which is when it happened).

Not true.   I know that is has been flowing since the 1970s, and probably well before that.

Every amount of Heroin brought into Australia makes a difference, this wasnt the first time they had done it. If they hadn't been caught it probably wouldn't have been the last ...... They didn't care who these drugs would harm, all they cared about was the $$$$ ..... The knew the risk, they took the chance .......

So the shortage from 2001 to 2005 never happened? shok.gif

It was bringing good money in 2005 because of the reduction in availability.

They gambled, ....................... and lost.

The whole thing is macabre, selfies on the plane, overkill security, full combat soldiers, tanks and jet fighters.

Flipping the bird to us all. God help them being in the hands of these monsters.

there were no selfies on the plane.

There were indeed.  They were ensuring their 15 minutes of fame in their photo album.  Disgusting.

Not technically selfies,  but definitely posed for at least one for the shots.  He was of high ranking and could have erased the photos if they were taken without authority.
