Deb I did go and the and is who knows??he enjoys camping and I`m not a fan of "camping out"I think I`m too old to start roughing it..iykwim..plus he smokes but then I have issues as well..gotta get moving this morning as I have to have an infusion down in Boronia..this will be 2nd one and it`s to do with building up my bone density..another joy of getting older!!lol

Nic, I've never been a happy camper either, so I quite understand that 

hope this morning is over and done with quickly for you

Camping........................not for me......I like my comforts too much............and hve a rather large dislike of creepy crawlies.

Billy Connolly was good................but the deteriation in his health is obvious from last time we went to a show of his............I doubt he will tour much any more...........he is still incredibly funny..............but does not move about on much on stage now.......................and his show was over in 90 minutes.

It is still windy here...........waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too windy to go walking...............I hope it settles soon...........I miss walking every day now.

I am off to the doctors this morning............hopefully for a drop in medication now I have lost weight.

morning Flashie... me too. I'll never forget going to a music festival when I was young and when I woke up in the morning I had rolled out of the tent (it was on a hill) 

once you start walikng, you do miss it if you don't do it. it sort of becomes part of your routine.... good luck at the doc's this morning

Morning everyone. 

90 minutes is quite a long time to be telling jokes and stories though Flashie.  He is in his 70s now and I heard that he has also been diagnosed with Parkinsons.  I vaguely remember Pamela Anderson talking about it on a tv show.

Nics, maybe he meant glamping!  That would be alright.

I have to get up at 6 in the morning for the painters arriving at 7.  I need at least a cup of tea and a shower before they get here.

It will disrupt our weekends but it will be great to have the house looking good inside.  As Laney said, no more evidence of the old cigarettes.  3 years this month since I gave them up.

The weather is perfect for painting now.  Not too hot or cold and not humid.
