never heard of a cannondale (malvern star is abut the extent of my bicycle knowledge). Is it a valuable one?

i did have the impression it was new & un-used on the gumtree ad, he said it was a 70cm size frame, dunno where he took his measurements from but it is actually 24.5 "
near new is good enough for me
roadies of 22 - 25" are my size.
i was prepared to transfer everything to another frame, i'm so wrapped to discover i dont have to
this will be my baby
he reckons there were five other offers - sent him pics of their mountain bikes, they tried to dupe him :-D. but hey, i got the shogun for free anyhow
just so happy to get the bike ive been aiming for

70 cm?? hmmm ok lol, never heard of that. When we were kids my brother had a 28" bike. I think thats wheel size rather than frame though isn't it?
That's great you got the bike you've been wanting, I'm happy for you.
It's great when the universe plays nice.

the size wasnt specified in the ad so i asked him to take a measurement from the center of the bottom bracket to the top of the bar where the seat post goes. my sizing up.. works out to 62cm, a bit less than 24.5"
i used to refer to them as 28"ers as well, and later on, what ever gears...10 speed by 27". & yes it is.. 27" 28" was for the old school size of the wheels
these days theyre sightly smaller - 700c they call 'em.
27" [630mm bead] tyres wont fit them
i got my park tool package in today from UK as well, everythings falling in nicely :-D. lubs this hobby
