If you (or me) had a substantial amount of money to donate, wouldn't you want to choose who it went to?

I really don't see how anyone has the right to criticise ( or anyone else's business) who a person chooses to donate large amounts of money to. He/his family have already donated large amounts to other groups as well.

The fact that they do donate large amounts of their earnings deserves KUDOS.

All I want is tracking on my parcels but even that is too much to ask

The main problem with Aust Post ( and other postal services around the world) is the sharp and ever decreasing decline in the number of letters sent. (due to email,scanned docs sent by email etc.)

AP need Govt approval to change things.

When a  tracked parcel goes awol and never delivered to recipient,  because parcel wasn't scanned at a point on its journey, AP says  -  too bad, nothing we can do. Sender pays extra for tracking they should get tracking!
