Have you seen the Women of the Land video?  I think Skwirl posted a few days ago on one of the threads. Or maybe on a thread of it's own with women in the title.

Many people do have jobs providing the nation with food and exporting thir product. How many jobs do you think would be lost if mining took over what is now prime agricultural land? Besides, the health risks to the enviroment and the poisoning of drinking water.
