I didn`t get around to grocery shopping yesterday so today`s the day...how exiciting..not!!lol Things are progressing well with the friend hopefully he will drop in for a coffee on his way home from work...having tea with youngest dd so looking forward to seeing Maya Rose.

Is this the friend that you went sightseeing with Nics? This sounds good.  Slow and steady wins the race 😄

We are maybe going to get a thunderstorm this afternoon and it certainly feels like it.  It's very muggy.  Come on the rain.

Grocery shopping for me today too.  I can't believe it's Friday again.  It is Friday isn't it?

I just got a funny call from our daughter.

Our grandson wanted to earn himself some money..........so he went over next door to his Aunty........and she gave him a few jobs to do and paid him.

Well this motivated her son........(our cheeky grandson) to want to do some too..............so he said he would iron his school shirts...............and he did a very good job.

So his mother said..............Lets ring Nanny to tell her.

So she rings me.......................and as she is telling me I can hear his voice in the background saying.................................."Don't tell Nanny.................she has two baskets of ironing and if she makes me do that I will be there all week!"

Should I be offended..............................

Very funny Flashie 😄  It's good that he managed to iron his shirts though.  Something that my sons still haven't mastered.
