i don't think the problem is in having the firearms, any more than having a fork or spoon, a clock, a rake, a can of Pepsi, wow, i could sure go for a Pepsi right about now.. a gun is an object, a thing, it can't cause harm, anymore than a can of whole cashews or a cell phone..

a car has far more potientail to be used as an insturment of mass murder in the wrong hands. Bees have stingers, it's a weapon, people have been known to use their hands to choke other people, lets take away all the hands, no one can be trusted with their own hands.
