RIP Malcolm Fraser.

So sad for his family to lose him suddenly and not so old, he had become a man to admire.

Sad news.  RIP Malcolm Fraser.

I remember many years ago through and after the Whitlam saga that I didn't particularly like him, but he certainly grew a social conscience and held his own party to account.

Looking for the anti-kudos button here.   I was taught that if you have nothing good to say about someone, say nothing.

same here pct... we will never forget the dismissal- here's something a journalist on twitter wrote that I thought summed it up pretty well

A man who will always remind us that individuals can change

I have been taught to tell the TRUTH

This isn't the place for that brand of truth.

The title is RIP Malcolm Fraser.

I could tell of incidents when he was a grazier, but this is not the time.

He changed, and those incidents are part of long ago history, and should be kept there.

There are some who remain bitter and refuse to admit earlier errors, but he was not one of them.  As Azure, said, he became a man to admire.
