hmmm dsk .... probably the same time frame we had .... although Im sure it was later than 5.30am when mine came back on ....


mugssy .... yes when the power went off a few weeks ago ... the main road which is about 500mts from us was lit up like a xmas tree as were all the properties around it ..... but not us .... in the dark with a piddling candle for light .... 😮

We've been OK here in Embleton, though it's very blowy. One grandaughter and boyfriend slept in a caravan in the front garden last night and she said they thought it was going to take off at one point.
We saw the firefighting helicopters go over last night. it looks like they must have been heading to Two Rocks.

We had 21 people (all but two were family) for a barbecue breakfast this morning. Most of them have now left and the house seems very quiet.

Good evening lovely Waussies, big waves to Laney! And welcome to our corner of CS Milkolittle.

We left the house at about 11am and still had no power, we rang the Western Power line last thing before we walked out the door and it said the "estimated restoration time is unknown" It was back on before we got home, but I havent dared open the fridge yet. And the wind is picking up again now, I can hear it howling around my back gates. LOL.

Been a looooooong couple of days, night night Waussies.
