If Pre Loved don't do you area, they may know if there is anyone else that does.

Failing that - advt on Gumtree - for pick up - inform prospective buyers in the ad that the plant is heavy and needs carrying down flights of stairs.

I Tried the "pre-loved roots" thing but must be a bit of a scam or they're not in biz anymore as no-one answers the landline or the mob!

Not a scam. I just checked their FB page and they closed down earlier this month.

thanks for the info: will try Freecycle, doesn't seem like any other alternative other than to dump it and ask Council to take it away. Can't leave it here as the owner is doing a major renovation of the place
