I think some confuse compassion with pity.   To me compassion is trying to walk a while in the other person's shoes, seeing how it feels, maybe trying to help if possible withot being patronising, while pity can be patronising .  A fine line between really.

there is also a fine line between showing compassion and being an enabler....

I do like Melbourne, have met some nice friends there and had a great time.

I love Melbourne, and the weather. Autumn is the best time, usually.

except for today, its cold wet and windy today.
