I love seeing photos of the snow and ice. I don't like the cold either so will probably never see it for real.

The pair are 13 and 14, they are members of a group of students learning English in Russia, the event was a party on Valentine's Day.

Depth of field demonsration.
Top of lens is in focus as is the lens cap as well as the rellection in ithe lens. The focus point was the closest rim of the lens

The Sun.
Picture taken using a 32X ND filter and 2 linear Polarizing filters out of phase at f22. the polarizing filters have to be of the linear type and set at 90 degrees out of phase the blue colouration is added by the polarizing filters.
The sun was also veiled by a thin layer of cloud.
The solar corona is clearly visible, which I was hoping to capture 🙂
