This is not a great photo from a technical standpoint... I didn't have my camera... I used a phone.

Did you get any eclipse shots Podd?

It was overcast here 😞 but i managed a couple between clouds

I had a clear view but didn't try, I only ever get a fuzzy glowing ball.

Did you use that monster lens in that post back up there a bit?

Yes the 'Monster Lens' is actually a telescope with the camera attached

I was hoping to get a full sequence of pics of the entire eclipse but it was overcast 😞

It was gorgeous and clear here in sunny Melbourne 😛

dusty orange and at it's best with a little sliver of bright silver.

I asked for a cloud-free evening and the heavens delivered. Tonight it was like this. 

Amber, next time you ask for a clear evening would you please include where I am as well ?

I had all the gear set up and ready to roll and then the clouds rolled in 😞
