Maybe that's why Harry is here?  To help defend us all and make sure we don't get claimed Woman Wink

See my points below in red DDB and perhaps you can ponder them. I'd like to ask you to respond to them but I know you won't. You never do.
But if the reasons that you were protesting were as per your list, then you need to rethink where you give your time me thinks.

These are the points I support

* To stop any enforcing of Sharia law throughout the whole of Australia. To make Sharia Law illegal in every State and Territory.

What part of Sharia Law are you talking about? Do you mean the bit that tells Muslims they can't drink alcohol? Or the one that tells them that their daughters should be provided for equally with sons when a father dies? Like, which bit exactly are we planning to make illegal?

And which bits ARE legal anyway where the law needs to change?

* Keep our traditional values ie. Christmas, Easter, Australia Day, Anzac Day and other beliefs a large number of Australians have grown up with.

How does another religion affect how any of these things are celebrated?  And if you are worried about the dispersion of Christmas and Easter. then perhaps you should extend your campaign to Christians because they are the ones who seem to have lost the plot here. And I suggest you start this campaign by protesting the sale of chocolate at Easter outside all of the supermarkets. And then you can take your protest to fake santa clauses. As both of these have eroded the Christian message.

Not sure what you think is affecting Anzac Day?

* Halal certification should be banned and made illegal. (if not banned, then control should be handed over to the government so it isn't a moneymaking scheme for islam).

Why? Should we ban all moneymaking 'schemes' that religious organisations partake in? Do we ban Catholics from donating to Missionary agancies who we know have done enormous amounts of damage to cultures overseas?

* Introduce pride in the Australian flag and Anthem at all levels of schooling.

Huh? Isn't it already in place? My kids know their flag and the words to our Anthem. What else do you want?

* Ban the teaching of Islam in government schools.

Since when is Islam taught in government schools?

* Ban FGM and introduce mandatory 10 year jail terms for perpetrators and organisers. This includes those who send girls overseas to have FGM carried out outside Australia. Once their jail term has been completed, their citizenship should be cancelled and they be immediately deported back to the country they originated from.

FGM is against the law and the laws already exist. Ironically the gaol (that is the AUSTRALIAN way to spell it BTW) terms for perpetrators is far greater than you ask for. So not sure why you want to LOWER the sentence??

It is also worth noting that the instances of girls being sent back for the procedure are very low and there are no actual known cases. One reported case in 2014 turned out not to be the case at all. It was case of child abduction by the the father but the mother thought it would be treated more seriously if she told authorities that he had abducted her for treatment.

* Stop Centrelink recognising polygamy and only recognise the first marriage for benefits.

Umm, it doesn't. Why on earth would you think it does? Poylgamy is illegal in this country.

However having multiple partners is not. So if someone wants to do a Jack Thompson and live with multiple women (and many Aussies do BTW), they are entitled to do so and they are entitled to recieve appropriate benefits if they have children.

Of course the chances of an Islamic man actually taking on another wife is very remote as it means he is disobeying his religion. As nowhere in the Koran does it suggest that a man does anything other than keep it in his pants if he already has a wife. Unless all the men in the village have been killed at war! Then he can take on many wives in order to give them and their children security. That last bit is the only time the Koran encourages polygamy and all others references relate to this context.

But maybe you are talking about Christians? Cause the Bible does specifically say that a Christian can have up to 4 wives.

The violence that was at some of the other rallys around Aust was actualy by the rent a crowd mobs that were throwing manure at police, spitting on people and burning flags, not those who were there for the Reclaim Rally.

Who rented the crowd?

I noticed the other day that Bill Shorten came out and condemned these marches, but I have not seen one word about it from our PM  Smiley Sad

And don't you just love these protesters who are protesting against people who cover their faces with burqas. Lol!

Dimwit thugs who feel that they have to cover their faces - why ?

Maybe it's so they don't get identified by their Mums, who would probably pinch them by the ear and tell them not to be so stupid.

Still waiting for some sort of coherent reply as to why this march took place at all.  I looked all around Adelaide and I couldn't see anyone trying to take away "my" Australia.

I think you need to look inside your own head and then plumb to the depth of your overactive imagination to find this.

An attempted bigot convention has gone awry over the weekend as attempts to ‘Reclaim Australia’ have led to hate groups accidentally reclaiming the fascist rhetoric of the rise of the Third Reich.

The group met with the express purpose of reclaiming an Australia that they believe had once existence because they heard about it in a Slim Dusty song. Unfortunately for organisers, the violent intimidation and overt racism of the event meant that all that was reclaimed was the spirit of fear and hostility of the bleakest periods of human history.

“I suppose this was a pretty massive oversight,” said one organiser. “I guess if we wanted to reclaim Australia then we would have to show up and engage heavily with indigenous culture being as they are about as Australian as this gets.

“I mean, there were dudes here with swastika tattoos. Swastikas! I’ve got tattoos I regret but surely as that’s being inked in you must this ‘Well, this is permanent and maybe one day I’d like to have a conversation with a reasonable human... I’m making a terrible mistake.’

“Maybe we just got the name wrong. Maybe Reclaim Australia was too vague. What we meant to say was that anyone who is different to us is bad. Did that message convey?”

Organisers were reluctant to admit the event was a complete failure however, saying that there were some positives to come of the event.

“We did manage to stave off sharia law for another day. Sure, no one was trying to institute sharia law and this whole thing was just dog whistling racism but still, we stopped sharia law. We also stopped the Hindu religion becoming mandatory, an invasion of mammoths and a whole range of other things that had no chance of happening.

“We’re basically heroes if you were to change the definition of hero to the opposite of what it is now.”

Anti-racism advocates also admitted there were some positives to be taken from the event saying that now that we know how to gather all the bigots in one place all that we need is the technology to summon a comet to a specific location.

The Backburner is Australia's most trusted news source, it is quite obviously satire and shouldn't be taken seriously or before operating heavy machinery.

Do you think  these people are really reclaiming Australia , and why do they think it necessary to hide their faces??????

Their mission statement below and the rest of their websites make "interesting reading"

"

Reclaim Australia has one main purpose, and that is to assist and educate the people of Australia as to whom they really are, to help guide them to follow the higher laws of Yhwh, our Heavenly Father, to live the way our heavenly father wanted his children to live, to reclaim their country from the parasites and predators of the Abdicated  Corporate Government of Babylon and Caesar's world of Satan.

To teach the People how to protect themselves from the Corporate World, how to remove the hidden contract of involuntary servitude that the Corporate Government has hung around your neck.

Who are you, are you a person or a Man or Woman, as a Person is defined in the Statutes of the Corporate Government as a corporation/entity, it does not  say a person is a Man or Woman.

The state churches are controlled by the Corporate government as they are registered to the state, they are not a true Ekklesia, which is a church of our Heavenly father.

Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon."
