What's Favourite Chip Flavour?

I always buy a box of 20 little packs of chips in my fortnightly shopping.

There are 4 flavours:

 

Salt and Vinegar

Original

Chicken

Barbeque 

 

The Chicken ones go first and Barbeque are always the ones to go last. 

 

My favourite is Salt and Vinegar.

These are my favourites. 

 

 

but I only have a pack every three weeks or so.

 

Most of the big name brands are full of msg (which I have an allergy to) so I avoid them.

Smokey Bacon.....but can't find them in Adelaide any more...anyone seen them?

Sadly, I'm old enough to remember the original Smith's chicken-flavoured chips - when they were sold in clear, printed cellophane packets. Yum - best chippies ever!

 

And the original Thins Bacon flavour of the 80's.Fan-bl oody-tastic! All of the most recent imitations give me indigestion.

 

There's a new one on the market down here in Melbourne - Eta chips from NZ - not too bad at all. Sold thru Reject shops and others.

My favourite chips were the ones that had that little blue twisted wrap of paper with the salt in it.
