Yes, yes! That is exactly the reason! Nothing at all to do with my basic laziness and intense dislike of gardening ![]()

I need to clean a small strip of my garden, but every time I walk outside it starts to rain. ![]()
Joono, the common name for your pretty blue flowers is Morning Glory.
Google it for Images and see how many diffrent colours there are. I love it, but some places regard it as a weed.

We call the one with large trumpet flowers morning glory Erica. It is a bit of a weed because it will take over and smother plants around it.
This one is a small flower about the diameter of a 20c piece.

This is another very pretty perennial that is good for pots and hanging baskets. My mother-in-law gave me a pot at Christmas with two different colours in it and it looked so pretty and delicate I thought I would kill it but it's still flowering like mad.
This one is mine. Only the purple is flowering at the moment but there is also a pink one in there. It also comes in so many different colours.
Calibrachoa x Hybrida
Just after Christmas I saw some at the Bunnings nursery in gorgeous red.

The only pixies around here charge more like $50/hour and will not do weeding 😞 . They like the macho stuff; lawn mowers, brush cutters and weed killers.

I think I might get one of those to come on a Thursday while OH is at golf and he'll think I did it myself ![]()
Nah he won't, he knows me better than that ![]()

There was a time when Scouts and Cubs used to come around looking for jobs to earn some money they collected for charities. A Bob a Job it was called. I would gladly give a few dollars to a youngster to weed my bit of garden.
What are the Scouts and Cubs doing now to raise money? Or are they not interested any more to help others?

No advice from me, I have some empty pots though.......................
I have a mower woman and a whipper snipper man 🙂 (my sis and her OH)................ my sister can't stand to see weeds, lol. She can often be seen with a kettle of boiling water walking around the path, patio and pool paving.
