Hope you have a great trip OS icy, I have great memories of touring Germany (and Austria) a few years ago with the-then Mrs Wine and 4y.o. daughter. Great scenery, great food, beer and friendly people. Lots of history and a great culture. Great driving too on those scary Autobahns - make sure you are in the correct lane ! (mind you, the drivers seem to be a lot more respectful over there (or were) - they just flash their lights from behind you rather than the great Australian tradition of monstering you an inch from your bumper accompanied by aggressive hand gestures ![]()
It also pays to know your Kartoffelpuffer from your Schweinshaxe ![]()
