They are both good shows.  I prefer MasterChef for the cooking and MKR for the beetching.

Joono

Gotta say though, MKR has Colin Fassnidge who is great.  He used to be a guest chef on MasterChef at times but I guess that is over now that he is a regular on MKR.

Joono

I didn't know that about Colin. Still, I like the Irish accent.

I think Masterchef is more professional and MKR is more something closer to home.

As you say joono, cat claws in MKR and I don't go for that.

I also find MKR drags on at times.

The two shows seem so diiferent to me.

I find MKR is more about an experience- cooking is part of it, plus all the shopping and then the decorating of the room, the writing of the menu etc..whereas MC is about cooking, thinking on your feet, technique...

I think I enjoy MC a little more- especially since the trio have toned it down a bit..I didnt watch for a few seasons cause they drove me nutty...also I like Shannon- he is an impressive cook. My old boss once hosted a dinner party for 12 and my partner and I were invited, and Shannon was the cook..we each had our own waiter(gulp). I will never forget eating chocolate cigars which had been lit. It was a very special night.

Who was eliminated tonight out of the red team, I missed it?

Ava was eliminated. Jacquie was incredibly lucky to survive tonight, the dish she put up was pretty awful but Ava's was missing the vital ingredient which was oranges.

Oh nooo, she was a team captain and very good.

On the other hand, Jacqui seems lacking.

At least my faves are still there.

Thanks punch.

Hey Kopes are you a good cook?

Hi, Not bad. I can cook dishes from about 10 different countries.

It became a small hobby some years back and I enjoy doing new dishes. Smiley Happy

(I can do biscuits, cakes and breads as well).
