IF they did some research, they would've found that most women did not like being called "rorters " and double dippers.

Am I wrong or did he say that at the time he was unaware of his fellow ministers taking advantage if the same system?

I didn't watch the show.  Did they question him about his rorting and double dipping by claiming $270 a night to stay in his wifes home?

Again, he got most defensive when asked about his own double dipping.

It's worth another look.  http://www.abc.net.au/tv/qanda/txt/s4219741.htm@   Double Dipping @ 33:16

Yes, someone in the audience did Joono. He just laughed it off and said all public servants and politicians claim "away from home " expenses.. Tony jones said he claims travel expenses but his wife doesn't own a hotel. 😄

It's there in that video clip joono

Thanks.  I'll have a look.

Yes, they certainly did.

He doesn't seem to get it that paying rent to a landloard is not the same as paying your own family's mortgage on an investment property that they own and profit from.

I'd like to know how pulic servants would be treated if they did the same.

That was pretty shocking LOL.  He got a bit snarly didn't he.  He's paying rent.

I liked that twitter comment that said something like,' I think it's sad that Joe has to pay to stay at his wife's house". LOL.

So much spin,
