I have no doubt she could. I think we both wish we could wind the clock back 47 years. If only I hadn't bought that new HR and/or gone up to Grannies in Emu Plains that particular night. On second thoughts, I'll keep the HR.

I couldn't really say on here - not that she swore or anything but ....well ....

Mr. Rabbit, behave yourself, it's your anniversary, no matter what xxx

You are still together, you have done wonderful things, looked after your wife and your family in sometimes difficult circumstances, but, here you are, count your blessings xxx

Congratulations Rabbit, hope you had a lovely celebration!

49 years next week. It has gone so fast. We went shopping for Anniversary presents today.
I think I will keep him for another 49.
Too much trouble to train another one. 😆

Well done Jean, and congratulations xxx

reminds me of a scene from

the war of the roses:

“What’s the moral? Other than dog people should marry dog people and cat people should marry cat people? I don’t know. Could be just this: a civilized divorce is a contradiction in terms. Maybe because of what happened, I’ve become too traditional. Maybe it’s not natural to stay married to one person for life. My parents did it — sixty three years, a few of them good."

happy anniversary !!!   Heart

Mine didn't last....and we were both cat people too.  Smiley LOL

My parents lasted the distance though.  In the end Dad had Alzheimers.  He called Mum The Boss.....mostly because he had forgotten her name.  He'd forgotten his kid's names too though it seems on one level we must have seemed familiar as he was always happy to see us.

With Alzheimers you just go with the flow.  Nothing else you can do really.
