A Great Dane generally needs a bit of stopping power to pull them up,(I've seen children and adults dragged

along when the dog has spotted something it's interested in),

Great Danes aren't the smartest dog on the block are they?

I grew up with Alsatians, Have a pic somewhere.

When walking Great Danes you have a distinct advantage - you walk them 10 km and then you can ride them home.
