I seriously hope he doesn't rush the election date.

I hope there is a chance for a debate between the two. And I hope there is a chance that both outline their policies for the country.

Rudd has challenged Abbott to debate the economy with him at The Press Club... will Abbott do it?

I have just had a very interesting day.  I was invited by a friend of my dear (albeit very conservative) friend for a "ladies lunch" at her magnificent architect designed  house on fully landscaped 20 acres.  As these people's friend list reads like who is who in the LNP, I was hoping there will not be much talk about politics; did not want to be going home with a bleeding tongue.  The food was splendid, the wine exquisite, and the only brief discussion of political nature was "TA must never be elected as PM"  and "daddy (well known conservative) must be turning in his grave".  :^O:O

Only to come home to an anti TA picture on my FB, posted by an acquaintance, who I was 100% sure would be voting LNP.

Anybody wants to take a punt how quickly will the LNP dust off Malcolm?  🙂

I see Mr Turnbull being more visible soon.

The Coalition have a lot of policies to announce.. people seem to forget that the opposition NEVER release any policies before an election.... Labor is well known for stealing Coalition policies... Just wait and watch to see Rudd take known Coalition policies and turn them into his own...

Abbott will accept the debate when Rudd announces an election.... that is when it happens and not before.. Rudd is being a bit arrogant trying to alter the processes.

I do hope that Rudd can explain that the government revenue is 14% higher than before the GFC yet they can't balance the books... why are we in such debt if we are getting so much more money in?

And yes a  lot of Coalition supporters are worried that the Rudd factor will impact on the public... Labor had 3 years of Rudd and 3 years of Gillard... neither one was any good...

So you are supposed to vote for a political party without knowing their policies before election?

Bit late to find out what they are after they have been elected.

TA spends most of his time talking about the recycled PM Kevin now.

Thank goodness Labor didn't steal the LNP's NBN policy.

Thank goodness Labor didn't steal the LNP's NBN policy.

remember when KRudd said the NBN was going to cost $6 Billion????

That was a great start to policy making wasn't it?

i don't think abbott wants anything for the country. i don't think he cares i think he only wants to be the boss and get into the history books

Unfortunately I think JG had the same ambition to become PM at any cost, she did and look what has happened. total disaster and she has been tossed out in disgrace and humiliation. Was it worth it ? maybe to her but she will be remembered as the first female PM but also the most vindictive and vicious PM ever.

Keep it nice, I might cry if you write anything upsetting (like not)

:^O

Twaddle :^O:^O

Thank goodness Labor didn't steal the LNP's NBN policy.

He did. The nationals are the first ones who wanted to build fibre to the premises.
