That looks hard, way too hard to me.

Miss Linda, way easy, just started with 4 fat quarters,

Put them in pairs, then sewed across one edge. Sliced into strips, 1", 1'5", 2", 2.5" and 3" from each pair.

I forgot to take pics of every step but it is easy and I work from pics much better than written instructions.....

Result, with mitred borders, the very first perfect mitres I have ever done.....:)
