That's a lot of snow!  I was expecting it would just be not really settling.  I'd love to see the snow again.  We used to get so excited as kids.

Must say I used to get excited about it too - created a really magical landscape - unless I had to go out in it 

Road closures and black ice aplenty up there yesterday - that is the part I really don't like.

I recall when I lived in London, warm and cosy indoors, looking out at folks trying (often unsuccesfully) to navigate their way across the road to do their shopping at Waitroses. Also saw a phalanx of nuns in their habits - on bicycles - trying to make their way along the road.   All I could think of was that I was glad I didn't have to go out in it

You too Laney.  I'm going to get out too.  I have stuff to be done at home but I just don't want to do it so even a trip to Dramadale will be more fun.

It's on at 6:30 on tv Deb but I don't know if it's a delayed telecast.  I have the tv to myself but I'll probably watch it anyway.  Then again I do have like that Rango movie even though it's animated.
