Yes we had our traditional Sunday bacon n eggs, but won't want another meal until dinner.

So we can't access under the house at all. We know the foundations go around each room because we replaced the sub floor in a couple of the lowest rooms where the joists had rotted

I don't ever watch bolt so can't comment though I did hear he wrote a scathing article on bishop yesterday I think it was, I don't read his articles either, sorry.

I did watch PVO on australian Agenda this morning, I've become a bit of a fan of his, David Spears I quite like too

Deb, thinking about our old family home in Sydney, we didn't have an external door for access either but had a trap door in the hall way which facilitated that access.  My sister and I used to love going down there with our Dad when he was checking the sub floor.  The dividing walls also had small openings so you could get from room to room underneath and there were some very low floors at the rear of the house due to the slope of the land.

I could not do that now - too claustrophobic for me lol

The trap door in the hallway was very difficult to see as it was cut very carefully and matched up but my folks put a camphorwood chest over it anyway to hide any visual impact.

.

We don't have a trap door either. There are small gaps in the foundations where the doorways are, but that it's. We've thought about putting a trap door in, but never got around to it.

You just reminded me what the small openings were - it was where the doors above were.  Had totally forgotten that.

One of those 'when I get around to it' things Smiley LOL

Know that feeling!  Might be worth considering sometime in the future to keep you all warm and toasty no matter which room you are in.

I bet your furry friends would love the vents too lol

Plus there might be buried treasure under the house.

No need to apologise.

We all like to watch what reflects our own opinions.

Funny you should mention that j*oono - my Sister and I always imagined we might find treasure.  We did find a few old coins - heavens knows what happened to them - we were too young to appreciate they might have been valuable lol

He's a pretty balanced man PVO, not like some of the other nutters employed on Sky.
