I'm back home again for now Deb.  They said to go back around midday but it's likely he will spend the night there... if they don't cancel again.

 

That shark video is amazing.  Boy, did he swim fast to the jet skis 😄  I bet he really felt it once the shock set in.

Deb we saw that footage last night - when he disasppeared behind the wave we could not help thinking the worst (along with other viewers I am sure) and it was such a relief to see him appear near the jet skis.  We thought the commentators felt likewise judging by the pregnant pause in their commentaries!

 

I imagine that shock would have set in once he realised he was safe.

 

A good decision to call off the finals and divide up the prize money.

 

 

Passport and visa in hand - have to head up to North Perth to collect some documents for a meeting this afternoon

It was a worry when he didnt surface for a few minutes there Laney. Another surfer was so upset by it that he couldn't even speak about it

Back home again!  Three times at the hospital today but he was in surgery when I left and will be home tomorrow. Yay!!

 

I can speak to him later when he's with it.
