Now that it is finished - I looked - and nothing was there anyway 

An odd result tonight anyway.  Not in a million years would I have picked the figs that have been on the show nearly every night for the past two weeks.  Eye roll.

The flavours sounded nice though and the whole dessert had a density about it that I found appealing.

Would have preferred Billie or Reynold to win of course lol

Loved Billie's courage to go with what she believed in.

I would not have liked to eat off Georgia's wooden spoons from a textural point of view - different doing it at home though lol

I would have thought it changed the flavour of the mouthful

I was wondering whether they had a challenge to make edible spoons out of sugar?  I thought they did.  That would have been a brilliant concept, to make it on a wooden spoon that you could eat.

They did have to make edible spoons at some stage.

What a shame she could not have fashioned a spoon out of crumbs - to create some sort of cheesecake base.

Then again, it wasn't a shame - glad she didn't lol

Have a windows update nagging me here so will say goodnight and let it land.

Good morning folks 

A lateish start here this morning - looks like you are all busy doing 'stuff'.

Had long standing plans to lunch (at a yet to be determined location) with a friend who is currently on holidays and am waiting to hear from her.  Have texted her, emailed her and got the standard office reply 'currently out of the office and back on 11 August'!  Glad I am not paranoid and wondering if she is avoiding me

Oh well - no other plans for today so will just exercise patience.  With friends that is easy - with others not so much (as you girls know)
