yes i also later read the child's ethnicity has been confirmed Debra but until a homicide/murder is solved, motives still need to be addressed & eliminated

By whom? I'm sure the police have been following up any possible clues, but there have been no official  reports as far as I know speculating on her possible ethnic origins other than the confirmation that she was caucasian.

by the detectives on the case is by whom!!!

i also never said there were any reports of the child's possible ethnic origins.

if you scroll back to previous posts instead just reading the last post posted, i simply replied to Debra's post 'Has there been a report on what nationality the little girl was? If so I haven't seen it. I wouldn't assume that she was of ethnic origin , nor comment on that until there was any actual proof... To do so without having proof sounds a bit racist to me' to which I replied to with regard to the racism 'to do so without proof' is merely suggesting a motive for why this tragedy happened Debra'

all i did was was give an example of why I don't, and others may not, view the previous posts before the posts above as racist

What police know about the child:
• Believed to be a girl
• Aged 2.5-4 years at time of death
• Likely Caucasian
• Had fair hair, 18cm long
• Was 90-95cm tall
• Was killed at another location
• Was killed some time since the start of 2007

already read that too before i made all of my posts so what's your point???

Updated pic of quilts layout.

Snowball blocks, all blocks centres look to be different fabrics.

5 blocks across, 5 blocks down, with a border in music fabric, the same as the backing and binding. Someone has said it's an alphabet quilt but I think it's an I Spy design.

I have the dog fabric, the stars, the dragonflies (but a different shade of blue) and the geckos. I have also had the pumpkin fabric at some stage and still have some of a coordinating sunflower with the blue check background.

Most of those are more than 5 years old and could be as long ago as 10 years.

I hope the maker or gifter comes forward.

the police origanally called it an eye spy quilt. There was a bit of a facebook arguement over it being an alphabet quilt

I found this in my newsfeed this morning. Good grief! Is there no height of absurdity to which public imaginations will not fly?

Police have debunked unfounded speculation that the remains of a child found dumped in a suitcase in the South Australian bush are those of British girl Madeleine McCann who disappeared in Portugal in 2007

lets see:

maddie disappeared the same year.

she was 3, caucasian, had fair hair,

approx 90cm tall.

Portugal Resident weighed into the speculation, recalling that two Madeleine McCann sightings 'firmly alluded to Australian connections'.

Police have said the remains found in a suitcase in Wynarka are 'unlikely' to be of the missing girl.

Yes, I must admit that when She_el posted it did make me wonder.  It would have been around the same time and no one in Australia reported a little girl missing.
