Maybe it's all in how you look at it.

I wasted years of my life in an unhappy relationship, going nowhere, but once I had left it I knew what I didn't want.

And though it sounds like a cliche, I did find what I wanted, and ten years later, I haven't looked back.

You'll never see the sky if all you ever do is look at the floor.

I saw a bumper sticker that said that those who do not learn from the mistakes of the past are doomed to repeat them.

That got me thinking - If I've learned from the mistakes of the past, does that mean there's new mistakes to be made?

I'm not sure I'm happy about that. Just once in this life I'd like to think I'd get something right. LOL.

That depends on whether you want to be repeating old mistakes continually or having new experiences & learning curves throughout your life 🙂 Either way is fine, as long as you're happy with it 🙂

I'm gonna "try" to get some sleep, and when i wake up, do as little as possible. I have found that there's a kind of accomplishment in that. Cats have mastered it, they look happy.
