What Windows are you using Joz?
It seems to be coming up for those of us on Windows 8....we are being offered a free upgrade. It does not come up on my husband's computer.....he still has Windows 7.

Could anyone tell me please, how to get rid of that infuriating Windows 10 pop up advert that keeps appearing ad nauseam ? It's driving me bonkers.
(Other than taking up their offer, that is).
I only make rights, unless there is a traffic light...so, Go to> control panel>>>>system and security>>>>windows update>>>>click installed updates>>>>find windows update kb123456 (a number?)>>>>click unistall
As far as the ad nauseam....I can't help with that. Did you try clearing your cookies and milk?

Joz, that explains everything......you already have Windows 10 so no need to flog it to you.
And you only get logged out if your computer is inactive for 1 or 2 hours or whatever the time may be. I can stay logged in for 12-24 hours or indefinitely as long as I just refresh a page before the automatic log out activates.

So anyway, Lithium can you look at keeping us logged in for longer whilst inactive.
